Brand Consultant / Account Manager

With agency or strategic planning background, you are eager to put experience to use for projects of greater complexity. Passionate about the creative industry, you yearn for a place where thinking and creativity collide. If this describes you, this is a great role for you to grow and learn.

Reporting to an Account Director, you will:

  • Manage and grow key accounts
  • Provide advice to clients and lead internal teams on select accounts
  • Research, strategise and develop brand and communications strategies
  • Project manage brand and communications projects and jobs
  • Write exciting proposals and deliver convincing presentations
  • Manage project timelines and costs
  • Organise fun, creative and effective brainstorming sessions
  • Review the billing structure of our clients and identify growth opportunities
  • Support the Business Development Manager with pitch proposals for new clients
  • Design P&L that maximises cost efficiency, profit and workflow
  • Design/Facilitate client ideation workshops

About you

You’ll come to us with:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or related discipline
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in a brand consultancy/advertising agency
  • Proficiency in project management, strategic thinking and problem solving
  • The ability to write, speak and express yourself like a pro
  • High motivation with a strong desire to learn and acquire knowledge
  • An awesome personality, bubbling with creativity and a collaborative spirit
  • A great sense of humour
  • A knack for being meticulous and detail-oriented

Intern (2020 placements)

More than taking meeting minutes, you will be learning real things and making a difference. If you have 3–6 months to spare and are passionate about branding, advertising and public relations, this role is a great launchpad into a communications/PR career.

Supporting the Client Services team, you will:

  • Assist in desk research to shape briefs
  • Support and participate in 2–3 retainer accounts/projects
  • Be involved in account servicing, brief development, client follow-up, media engagements, as well as organisation of events and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Support new account pitches
  • Support client accounts administratively; this incl. keeping good meeting records, quoting and billing accurately
  • Develop content for our social media and blogging platforms
  • Internship periods – Jan – Jun 2020 / Jan – Apr 2020

About you

You love the excitement of the communications industry…reading up on latest news, meeting people and weaving intriguing stories! But after all the bustle, you can quiet down, dig deep and pen interesting stories and thoughts. You must be:

  • Excellent in language skills, spoken and written
  • A strong communicator (and listener!)
  • A dramatic presenter, charming and charismatic
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Someone with a great sense of humour
