Senior Account Manager

If you are passionate about creative and communications industry,  enjoy working closely with creative and have an instinct for winning campaigns, join us!

As Senior Account Manager, you will drive and monitor both business development efforts and key accounts to deliver stellar top line revenue. With strong technical experience in digital, integrated campaigns and strategy development, you will direct key projects to fruition.

Reporting to Managing Director, you will:

  • Drive new business development through seasoned sales techniques; network, prospect qualify, propose, handle objections, close
  • Develop winning pitches through great insights, time management and ability to rally team resource
  • Develop strategies and ideas for integrated campaigns (brand, advertising, PR, content, social, digital)
  • Identify billing opportunities and execute sales and upsell successfully
  • Manage project timeline and cost, ensuring on-time on-quality, exceeding client-satisfaction
  • Develop inspirational briefs based on strong data-driven user-based research and Oscar-worthy presentations
  • Plan account billing and take full responsibility for company top-line and invoice collections
  • Keep abreast of and teach others on latest trends, thoughts and best practices
  • Perform other duties (such as marketing)

About you

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, Psychology or a related discipline
  • At least 6 years of agency experience, preferably some in boutique agencies
  • Experience in agency operations and workflow
  • Smooth project management, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Write, speak and express yourself like a pro
  • Highly motivated with strong desire to learn, acquire knowledge and create awesome campaigns
  • Awesome personality, creative and collaborative
  • Great sense of humour
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented

Account Manager

  • Understand, empathise and grow existing accounts closely with clients
  • Proactively provide prompt communication advice to clients

  • Write inspiring creative briefs and inspire creative solutions
  • Project manage on work quality, timeline and cost
  • Write exciting proposals and deliver convincing presentations
  • Develop winning pitches through great insights, time management and ability to rally team resources
  • Keep abreast of and teach others on latest trends, thoughts and best practices
  • Perform other duties (such as marketing)

About you

Intern (2020 placements)

More than taking meeting minutes, you will be learning real things and making a difference. If you have 3–6 months to spare and are passionate about branding, advertising and public relations, this role is a great launchpad into a communications/PR career.

Supporting the Client Services team, you will:

  • Assist in desk research to shape briefs
  • Support and participate in 2–3 retainer accounts/projects
  • Be involved in account servicing, brief development, client follow-up, media engagements, as well as organisation of events and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Support new account pitches
  • Support client accounts administratively; this incl. keeping good meeting records, quoting and billing accurately
  • Develop content for our social media and blogging platforms
  • Internship periods – Jan – Jun 2020 / Jan – Apr 2020
