In Business Development, you will have the opportunity to strategize, execute and ensure that business development achieves or exceeds their business plans and sales targets consistently so as to build a profitable and sustainable business. Brand Consultant / Account Manager

Public Relations Executive

We are looking for individuals keen in to develop and grow in both communications and well-rounded marketing skills. As a member of client services division, you will also drive billing for your assigned accounts, as well as support business development manager in pitches, via PR and brand communications jobs.

Reporting to Director, Client Services, your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop PR plans, strategies and campaigns
  • Successful media pitching, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Develop social media content, amplification and influencer engagement plans
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts
  • Pen press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Brief in design work to Creative team when necessary
  • Organize, guide and support clients during interviews, photo opportunities and PR events
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR outcomes and results regularly
  • Support in antics corporate communications PR – messaging, media engagement, awards pitching etc.

About you

You’ll come to us with:

  • Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or of related discipline
  • Some experience in PR, preferably in a PR Agency
  • Advertising / branding experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent language and writing skills
  • Proficiency in PR media database. i.e. Telum media and social monitoring tools will be an advantage

Intern (2019–2020 placements)

More than taking meeting minutes, you will be learning real things and making a difference. If you have 3–6 months to spare and are passionate about branding, advertising and public relations, this role is a great launchpad into a communications/PR career.

Supporting the Client Services team, you will:

  • Assist in desk research to shape briefs
  • Support and participate in 2–3 retainer accounts/projects
  • Be involved in account servicing, brief development, client follow-up, media engagements, as well as organisation of events and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Support new account pitches
  • Support client accounts administratively; this incl. keeping good meeting records, quoting and billing accurately
  • Develop content for our social media and blogging platforms
  • Internship periods – Aug – Oct 2019 / Aug – Nov 2019 / Aug – Dec 2019 / Sep – Nov 2019 / Jan – Jun 2020 / Jan – Apr 2020
