To help celebrity dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi of Beverly Hills launch his line of medical skincare products to Singapore, we enlisted the partnership of the Dermatological Society of Singapore and the Singapore Society of Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Surgeons. We even put our best face forward (literally) by experiencing the products ourselves. Talk about dedication!

Besides using those perks and insights to develop key brand messages relevant to Singapore customers, we also staged events for media, VIPs and trade that were characterised by laughter, games, demos, and that touch of Hollywood glamour. The results? Terrific coverage for not only problem skin but across broadcast, print and digital media.

Working with Bestofire was like playing with that kid with the crazy toys. They are in the business of providing jaw-droppingly cool fireproofing solutions for theme parks and hotels in the region.

Our creative nerds went nuts over the industrial implements, compulsively studying blueprints like war maps, imagining Transformers-like forklift battles while location shooting, and obsessively arranging and rearranging washer pins and particle boards into artistic dioramas. But more than transforming their brand, by involving staff, partners and customers into our creative play, the project transformed also the way Bestofire think about their business and future, from HR and sales to everything in between.

While some perceive business real estate comms to be a fairly mechanical discipline, we saw in Ascendas a lively playground bursting with inspiration and creativity.

Swarovski is the world's leading producer of precision-cut crystals for fashion, interiors and architecture. But how do you translate crystalline beauty to an inspiring corporate culture and a branded customer experience?

We whisked Swarovski staff from across Asia on an immersive and exhilarating journey through event, video and collateral into the heart of the Swarovski brand. Creatively we had them peer into their long-term business vision and goals, internalise what it means to be an ambassador for the brand, and enkindled their desire to get there. The results are more than sparkling!

We admit. We're a cluck older than your average teenager. Which is why when we sat down to devise a campaign to launch a new Acuvue product to youths, we had to dig deep into our inner teens.

We first infiltrated universities and youth hangouts to suss out their passion points. We even roped in role models like celebrity DJs and sports heroes to play along. This imaginative play model let us see the world from the eyes of these young'uns, which then inspired us to craft compelling campaign tactics and propositions based on those insights that truly resonate.

How do you develop a brand for a new French wine bar along the historic Singapore River? By going back to the roots.

Inspired by the notion of terroir – how geology, geography and climate combine to bestow unique characteristics on wine – we put on our chicest berets and ubiquitous Singaporean berms, dug into the acclaim of French wineries, studied Verre's unique business proposition, toured the character of its Robertson Quay location, and distilled all that into a singular brand experience that is as appealing to aficionados as it is accessible to rookies and neighbours. Since 2011, Verre's maturing like a glass of fine wine.

What do you do when you have a fashion client? Play dress up! And that’s exactly what we did. To help this homegrown brand make their splashy debut in the US market (specifically, NY and LA), our girls role-played as customers to formulate PR strategies that urban girls can resonate with.

By showcasing Her Velvet Vase’s street-inspired line of clothing to American media through a series of media and blogger engagement activities and on-point messaging, we scored key wins by securing ink in titles like Glamour, US Weekly and Instyle.com, as well as high praise from prominent influencers Ellery L and Dear Milano. Back in Singapore, besides a press launch, we also styled prominent fashion bloggers on their take on the HVV girl.
