Partnership & Production Executive / Manager

Reporting to the Operations director, you will source and manage our suppliers and business partners. You will also drive creative solutions through leveraging capabilities of partners. You support creative in  production and delivery of specified jobs (esp. advertising, events, digital, technology development and video). In this role, you will:

  • Plug gaps in identified partnership areas and deepen existing strategic partnerships
  • Qualify partners on ESG criteria
  • Work closely with the creative team on production needs, incl.
  • Contacting and contracting production partners and freelancers
  • Negotiating costs, scope and timelines on both sides
  • Driving accurate delivery (incl. advertising submissions, organising press checks, arranging proofs and approvals)
  • Recommend production solutions to internal stakeholders
  • Pre-empt and solve production issues
  • Ensure accurate financial management, incl. sourcing for quotes, filing invoices and timely payment

About you

Having worked in creative environments, you enjoy the process of seeing creative visions come to live. You are excited by the possibilities digital brings, from innovative apps to A.I. experiences. And enjoy creative collaborations with these partners. You also appreciate the artistry and craft of different print techniques and tools.

Project Manager

You are the unique blend of a Type A tasker when it comes to timeline and budget and an imaginative magician when it comes to creative solutions.

A strong critical thinker, you consider all perspectives before making a recommendation. You communicate key tasks and steps clearly, tracking and following up diligently.

You hold the one reality of the project progress and everyone knows they can follow your plan / check in with you on latest progress. Similarly, you hold team members fast to their commitments.

In this role, you will:

  • Review all briefs and progressive briefs to ensure efficient communications
  • Traffic all jobs across agency; optimising resources. Engage relevant freelancers when necessary
  • Check point for all work going out of agency; ensure complete and accurate. Ensure project tool updated
  • Drive clarifications / reviews and checkpoints for jobs and projects internally. Ensure project team updated
  • Refresh training for staff on key project management tools and systems
  • Control internal published price list
  • Advise on and guard agency work flow for all types of work
  • Project management
    Develop and manage project plans and timeline with Client services, Creative or even 3rd party freelancers or vendors

About you

As our Jr./Copywriter-ish, you will play an active hands-on role in key projects, shaping not just words but also ideas and art. Working closely with other players in the creative, ops and account servicing team, you will steer client and agency jobs toward the best creative outcome and own it. You will report to our Executive Creative Director while making your fellow Copywriter, the Assoc Creative Director and designers your best friends.

Core responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues in the creative and planning teams to produce innovative content-driven campaigns (e.g., TikTok, Reddit, game UI, blog articles) and make those ideas come to life
  • Support and harmonise with larger omnichannel campaigns run by colleagues with content writing
  • Write persuasively to move the audience, whether videos and stories for social media, hashtags for Spotify, SEM ads or SEO-optimised blog articles; and the occasional advertising headlines
  • Produce and publish some of this content yourself
  • Wield your inner Sherlock and research intuitively and resourcefully to enrich creative insights
  • Keep yourself updated on content trends and advertising guidelines
  • Be an indispensable part of the team


Qualifications, skills and experiences required

  • Knowledge of at least 2 creative disciplines to produce copy-driven content under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office and project management software like Teamgantt and Teams
  • 2 years professional writing experience, preferably in a content publishing house or agency
  • An arresting portfolio showcasing versatility in style
  • Ability to design and produce posts using basic Adobe design software (e.g., Adobe Express) and video editing software will be considered more favourably
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (written) will be an advantage too
  • Degree holder in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or Design
  • Proven project management skills
  • A monkey brain brimming with too many ideas, matched by a left brain that can critically organise them into thoughts
  • Ability to have fun but can also hunker down and get stuff done
  • Other table stakes, like team player, communication skills, self-starter, time management, etc.

More than taking meeting minutes, you will be learning real things and making a difference. If you have 3–6 months to spare and are passionate about branding, advertising and public relations, this role is a great launchpad into a communications/PR career. Supporting the Client Services team, you will:

  • Assist in desk research to shape briefs
  • Support and participate in 2–3 retainer accounts/projects
  • Be involved in account servicing, brief development, client follow-up, media engagements, as well as organisation of events and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Support new account pitches
  • Support client accounts administratively; this incl. keeping good meeting records, quoting and billing accurately
  • Develop content for our social media and blogging platforms
